The wandering tunes of the stray cat
Lead to somewhere afar
She has a sense of belonging
With her years worth of scars
Her life is tangled in electric wire,
As if to say “Make way”
And if she could use her whispers of a voice
I can only imagine what she would say
Everybody wants to have a village,
To meet people that make them smile
Cause on the most stressful nights
They’re the ones who give you a break for a while
Some say we live with our eyes shut
So we are not strangers to the dark
We sing of miles to go
Before there’s even a single spark
The cat’s life is tangled in electric wire,
As if to say “Make way”
And if she could use her whispers of a voice
She would tell us that we are all strays
