Smell the salt water and people grilling.
Sand hot, stuck between my toes.
Seagulls screeching, waves splashing
Playing tag on the beach with my friends and my brother.
Building sandcastles, digging holes, and waiting for the water to come in.
We cannonball into the beautiful, blue pool
And swim down to the bottom and up again.
We climb out just to jump back in.
People screaming and laughing going down the water slide.
Time for a treat…ice cream sticky and sweet.
The sun is going down, but before we go
I use my binoculars and watch the dolphins dive.
