The Start of Spring

As the living flames of the hearth die out
As the morning doves start singing
The groundhog comes to and sees its shadow
The bears come out to see the sun

As sunlight warms the morning bringing out life
Sunlight reflects off the water
Herds of birds come back from winter migration
The bees buzz as the flowers bloom and the birds sing their harmonious tune

The green color returns from its sleep
You wake up to the tapping of the woodpecker’s beak
The trees are blooming, the skies are shining as bright as your heart today
The rabbits are hopping through the meadow with a fox stalking nearby

A baby deer is silently drinking milk from its mother to grow
The start of spring
