Collecting the vast green river, bucket by bucket
Knowledge is a craving all have
The auction house
Buckets of knowledge go for $5,000, $10,000. $100,000
The river turns a misty grey
Instead of rich knowledge, making those poor rich
It is dull
No knowledge is there
Across the world, there is a place where the animals roam free and are studied, not slaughtered
Over in that magical place, there is knowledge that is simply free
They take little buckets for no price and pass them around
The river is a beautiful blue, full of life
People on boats put the knowledge back in the water
Those who can write put the wisdom on paper, an everlasting knowledge
Greed will try to take the blue river, but greed knows nothing at all
