Tick,
Tock,
There goes the clock.
Its hands reach out to grab me as time sucks my soul away.
I am slowly fading.

With every step I take towards the clock,
I can feel myself growing older.
I don’t know why.
All I know is that there is nothing
I can do about it.
I am just a pawn on this empty chess board.

But wherever I go,
Whatever I do,
I start to evolve
Into something new.

Life is interesting, exciting and fun.
It gives me a challenge every now and then.
And I couldn’t wish for a better life.
