Spring,
spring means
a new beginning
flowers bloom
like opening
their arms
and welcoming us
to spring

Summer,
some days
in summer
it pours and pours
and everything
is gray
but then the next day
it’s hot outside
and a great day
is waiting for you

Fall,
in fall leaves shift colors
to red, orange, yellow, and even purple
squirrels start collecting nuts
and wind blows

Winter, a cold cold season
and if you don’t
have a coat
you will get too cold
lakes freeze
and animals
go into hibernation
but you can sled,
ski, do snowball fights,
and even ice skating
then when
winter is over
the cycle starts all over again.
