The butter was lonely,
but he got eaten.
Soon, he got forgotten, and,
they ate toast and bagels
with jelly — only jelly.
Jelly is vain and selfish,
butter is always lonely.
For all I know
butter is still in there,
in the gut.
Syrup beat up on butter’s
only hope,
waffles!
Don’t eat butter,
white is a blank color,
white isn’t colorful.
