Right now I’m
writing a funny poem
it’s so awesome,
you can show ’em!

It will be full
of lots of jokes
so it will entertain
all you folks.

Never mind
writing jokes is hard
So I’m going to write about
Bernard.
You don’t know Bernard, you say.
So, you will meet him
another day!

Now, it’s time to write about Jenny.
Scratch that let’s write
about Benny.

Benny is the best in town.
He’s known as the class clown.
He makes the whole class laugh,
but he’s part of the
riff-raff.

Have you met, Bertha,
his bestie?
Well, when she
gets worked up,
she get’s testy!

You’ve met the whole gang.
You see
it turns out
it wasn’t as
funny as it
was meant
to be!
