From a homeless child
Where’s the sink Mr. Fauci?
I’d like to know
How I could wash for twenty
Where the only fresh, running water is
Rivers and snow
How can I shelter in place
When my place is the streets

I would like to stay safe
Really I would
But I don’t even go to school
So how could I stay
Safe and good

Can you answer just one more
For me please?
When everyone’s down on their luck,
It would seem
How a kid who was already
On their last buck
Would protect themselves from
This new reality that just struck

So here a real tricky one
Fauci, sir
What happened to my soap, mask, and gloves?
Mr. Fauci, sir?
